Who provides the service
Charlotte Marshall, a sole trader trading as The Farrier’s Diary, 65 Stonyford Drive, Stainforth, DN7 5HY, United Kingdom. Contact thefarriersdiary@gmail.com. We are not VAT registered.
Your business account
This diary and booking service is supplied for use in your farriery business. You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for that business. Keep your account secure, provide accurate details and only upload information you are entitled to use. Each business has its own private workspace.
Free month and monthly subscription
Each new business receives one calendar month free from the date its workspace is created. The end date appears in My businesses. After that, a subscription costs £19.99 per month per business. Existing subscriptions retain the price agreed at checkout unless we separately notify you of a change under these terms. Customer booking requests are free. Creating an account or workspace does not itself authorise payment.
The business owner must expressly complete Stripe Checkout to start a paid subscription. If you set this up during the free month, the first charge is scheduled for the displayed trial end; otherwise the first charge is taken when you subscribe. Checkout shows the amount and timing before you agree. Monthly payments renew automatically until cancelled. No VAT is added by us at present.
Cancellation and failed payments
Choose Manage subscription / cancel in My businesses to use Stripe’s secure portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period (or trial); no further renewal payment is scheduled. Contact support if you cannot access the portal. We do not normally refund unused parts of a billing month, but will review billing mistakes, duplicate charges and service problems. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
When the free period or paid access expires, existing records remain readable but changes and new customer booking requests pause. A failed payment can also pause changes; successful payment restores access after verification. A full refund, dispute or fraud warning may put the workspace into read-only review. Contact support about a review.
Using the diary
You remain responsible for your appointments, professional decisions, customer communications and the accuracy of records. A request is not a confirmed appointment until you approve it. Route and time suggestions need your review. Diary entries do not send customer messages automatically. Keep copies of information critical to your business.
Do not misuse the service, attempt to access another business, upload unlawful content or use it for spam. We may restrict access for security, unlawful use or material breach and will explain where reasonably possible. We take reasonable care in providing the service; uninterrupted availability is not promised. Report faults so we can investigate. We do not exclude liability where the law does not permit it, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Your information and closing an account
You retain your rights in business records. The privacy notice explains account information; the data-processing terms form part of this agreement for customer records processed for you. Cancellation does not automatically delete records. The owner can contact support to arrange an export and account closure or deletion, including while read-only. We verify ownership before releasing or deleting data.
Changes and disputes
We will give at least 30 days’ notice by account email before increasing the subscription price or making a material contractual change. You may cancel before it takes effect. Security or legal changes may require shorter notice. Contact support first about a problem. These business terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, with its courts having jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory legal rights.
